Here at the Solomon Just For Men located in Tampa, FL, Dr. George Solomon works as a cosmetic surgeon alongside well-trained staff. The Solomon Just For Men staff is dedicated to helping men at any age achieve their cosmetic goals. Dr. Solomon is an AACS associate & committee member. George Solomon, MD, DPD, MSc, FAACS, is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon who started his medical career in the United States Navy in 1982, Served as a Microbiologist aboard the USS For Fisher, USS Okinawa and Naval hospital San Diego upon finishing his degree from San Diego State University. Dr Solomon did his post graduate education at California State UCLA affiliate. After finishing his medical school he did his residency in Kansas. Following residency he switched military services and joined the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon. Dr Solomon spent 24 years in the Military and received his honorable discharge. Dr Solomon understood that the human being is a master piece created by God and in order to do surgery a doctor needs to know the medicine and the disease process before starting to perform surgery. Dr Solomon had done training in Medicine, Dermatology, and Surgery and helped a lot of patients with their medical and surgical needs.
During his career, he dealt with a lot of male patients young and old who suffered from enlarged breast and this was one area that every patient was shy to talk about regardless of the reasons. The reasons are many and varies from hormonal imbalance, obesity to medications. The unfortunate part is these patients were reluctant to discuss it with their doctors and instead they will double shirt, haunch over or wear baggy cloth to hide their chest. Dr Solomon wanted to help these patients and help them get their self esteem back and make them feel good about their selves. Dr Solomon started to tailor part of his practice to men’s health and especially male breast reduction surgery or gynecomastia surgery. Dr Solomon has performed a lot of these surgeries and tailored each surgery depending on patient condition. Dr Solomon believes that there is not one size fits all and every surgery deserve his artistic touch.

Dr. Solomon began his medical career in the United States Navy at the Naval Hospital San Diego. He completed his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. He then worked as a microbiologist and clinical laboratory scientist. He received his medical degree from Ross University, School of Medicine and interned at University of California Los Angeles Torrance. Dr. Solomon has always had a love of science which led him to continue his post-graduate studies at UCLA and California State Dominguez Hills. He completed his residency from the Kansas University School of Medicine. He then moved to Florida and began his practice. He has had the opportunity to train with world-renowned cosmetic and anti-aging physicians and surgeons from all over the world.
In 2002 Dr. Solomon began his training in Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery. There is a difference between plastic and reconstructive surgery and cosmetic medicine and surgery in that it is a specialty that is dedicated to aesthetics and cosmetic procedures only. Physicians who specialize in cosmetic medicine and surgery must undergo additional specialized education and training.

Therefore, board specialties in this field are obtained either by a private organization in the United States or abroad. The Specialty recognition identified herein has been received by a private organization not approved by the ABMS.

Dr. George Solomon moved his family from east Florida in 2013 and established his new practice, Solomon Cosmetic Center. He began his practice by offering a full range of surgical cosmetic services including liposuction, tummy tucks, Brazilian Buttock Lift, breast augmentation, facelift and mommy makeover. He also offered non-surgical procedures such as Botox and facial fillers, laser skin resurfacing, IPL and many others. His first patients came mostly from Tampa, Tampa, Palm Harbor, and St. Petersburg. His patients today still come from those areas but have expanded to all corners of Florida and throughout the United States. He is greatly loved and appreciated by his patients and has maintained a 4.7-star review status from Google reviews.
